Data Deletion

You can delete your PostAway account and all of your data at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.

1. Delete your account in the app

• Sign in at getpostaway.com.
• Open the Profile tab and scroll to Delete account.
• Tap Delete my account, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Permanently delete my account.

Your account is deleted straight away. Any paid subscription is cancelled at the same time.

2. Ask us to delete it for you

If you can't sign in, email business@jennifercmessina.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my PostAway account". We will confirm and delete your data within 30 days.

3. Remove PostAway's access to your social accounts

Disconnecting an account in PostAway's Profile tab deletes its access token immediately. You can also remove PostAway's access directly on each platform:

• Instagram: Settings and activity → Website permissions → Apps and websites → PostAway → Remove.
• Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) → PostAway → Remove.
• TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions → PostAway → Remove access.

4. What we delete

• Your account, email address and login details
• All scheduled, published and failed posts and their captions
• Photos and videos you uploaded to PostAway
• Access tokens for every connected social account
• Notification settings, devices registered for push notifications, and AI usage records
• Your subscription record (Stripe keeps payment records it is legally required to keep)

Posts already published to Instagram, TikTok or other platforms stay on those platforms. Delete them there if you want them removed. Database backups containing your data are overwritten within 30 days.
